Little River doesn’t have a ton of options when it comes to playgrounds, so this one gets used — a lot. Kids aged 2 to 12 will find enough here to stay busy, between the slides, climbing structure, swings, and a sandbox that the younger ones absolutely refuse to leave. Parents tend to stake out the picnic tables or benches under the shade trees, and the layout makes it easy to keep an eye on everyone without hovering. Restrooms and parking mean you’re not scrambling, which honestly makes a difference when you’re wrangling multiple kids. The open grass field and walking path give the adults something to do too, or just extra room for kids to burn off whatever energy they’ve got left.
