The Country Castle

If you’re anywhere near Loris, this one’s worth the drive. The castle-themed climbing structure, slides, and swings give kids ages 2 to 10 plenty to work with, and the imagination stuff really clicks here — something about the countryside setting near the tree line makes it feel like actual adventure rather than just another plastic playground. Pack a lunch, because the picnic tables and shade trees make it easy to settle in for a few hours. The open grass field is great when the older ones need to burn off energy between rounds on the equipment. Parking’s easy, the benches are solid for the adults, and honestly it’s the kind of low-key local spot that doesn’t get enough credit.
