Canon Dam sits right along the water near the Lake Wylie Dam area, and honestly that’s the main draw here. It’s not a spot loaded with play equipment — don’t show up expecting a full playground setup. But if you’ve got kids who are happy just being outside near the water, it works fine for a low-key afternoon. Worth knowing ahead of time that it’s not wheelchair accessible, so plan accordingly.
