The basketball court gets a solid workout here, and the open grass field is big enough that you’re not tripping over other people’s kids while yours run around. Walking path is a nice loop if you want to stretch your legs without driving somewhere fancy — locals use it regularly, which tells you something. Picnic tables make it easy to turn a Saturday afternoon into a whole thing, and the restrooms are actually clean, which honestly bumps this place up a notch in my book. Good for pretty much any age, and the rec center pulls in community events throughout the year that give the whole spot a real neighborhood feel.
