Arrowhead Park

Locals know Arrowhead Park as one of the more reliable spots in Brookings for a laid-back afternoon with kids. The enclosed play area keeps the little ones from wandering, and parents can actually sit on a bench and relax without losing sight of anyone — the sightlines here are genuinely good. Kids ages 1 through 12 will find something to do between the slides, swings, and climbing structure, and the basketball court gets steady use too. The bike track and walking path make it easy to let older kids burn off energy while you do a loop or bring the dog along. Everything stays well-kept, which isn’t something you can say about every park in town.
