Custer’s got a solid little playground that they’ve clearly put some money into recently — the equipment is updated and doesn’t have that sketchy, sun-bleached look a lot of small-town parks end up with. Fresh wood chips underfoot make a real difference, especially if you’ve got a kid who’s going to fall off something (and they will). It works well for a pretty wide age range, so if you’ve got a 3-year-old and a 10-year-old in tow, both of them will actually find something to do. Worth a stop if you’re passing through or spending time in the area.
