Pioneer Frontier Park

East Ridge doesn’t have a ton of go-to spots for families, but this one earns its reputation. The splash pad is the main draw on hot Tennessee days — kids basically refuse to leave — and the climbing structure keeps the older ones busy while toddlers do their thing in the dedicated younger kids’ area. Swings, shade trees, picnic tables, restrooms on-site — it’s all here, and it’s kept up well, which you can’t say about every park in the area. There’s even adult fitness equipment if you want to feel productive while the kids run themselves ragged.
