Tom Lee Park Playground

Right on the banks of the Mississippi, this is one of those spots Memphis locals genuinely brag about. The playground works for all ages, and the open grass field gives kids plenty of room to just run, which honestly is harder to find than you’d think. There’s a basketball court if you want to get a game going, and the restrooms are actually clean — a low bar, but one a lot of parks don’t clear. Everything here is well-kept, and it feels safe enough that you’re not constantly looking over your shoulder. Solid choice any time of year.
