The Pumpkin Patch Playground

If you live on Signal Mountain, you already know about this place — and if you don’t, you’re missing out. The pumpkin theming sounds gimmicky until you actually see it built into the landscape, and then it just works. Kids have a serious amount of climbing structure to tackle here, plus multiple slides that actually get used hard, not just the token one-and-done kind. Shade trees and covered seating mean parents aren’t melting in the summer heat, and the whole setup backs up against the woods, which gives it a feel you don’t get at your average municipal playground. Restrooms on-site, good sightlines, benches everywhere — somebody thought this one through.
