If you’ve got kids anywhere between toddler age and the tweens-who-claim-they’re-too-cool stage, this park genuinely delivers. The zipline and merry-go-round get the most traffic, but there’s also a solid climbing structure, swings, and slides — enough to split up a group and keep everyone busy. The soft faux grass surfacing is a nice touch, especially for the littler ones who are still figuring out the whole balance thing. There’s a lake nearby with ducks and geese wandering around, shaded picnic tables for the adults, and decent parking, so it works well as a longer stop rather than just a quick stretch break. Honestly, if you’re passing through Amarillo on I-40, this is worth the detour.
