Honestly one of the more underrated spots in Arlington for families with a range of ages — the playground is split up well so the little ones aren’t getting run over by bigger kids. The musical equipment is a genuinely fun touch that you don’t see at every park, and kids tend to gravitate toward it whether they’re 3 or 10. When the playground loses its appeal, the walking trail picks up the slack — it runs through some seriously shaded, wooded stretches that feel more like a nature trail than a city park path. Shade trees, benches, clean restrooms, and actual parking mean you can stay a while without regretting it. Good open grass too if someone just needs to run.
