If you’re a parent in Austin trying to eat an actual hot meal while your kids run wild, Hat Creek is one of those places that genuinely delivers. The enclosed play area has a slide and enough going on to keep the under-8 crowd busy while you work through a burger without someone climbing on you. It’s fully fenced, so you’re not constantly doing head counts across a parking lot. Casual, unpretentious, and easy to get in and out of — parking’s never been an issue in my experience.
