City of Brenham – Jackson Street Park

If you want a low-key afternoon without the crowds, this Jackson Street spot delivers. There’s plenty of room to spread out — soccer field, basketball court, open grass, and a walking path that actually gets used by locals on the regular. Kids have slides and swings to keep them busy while you claim a picnic table under the shade trees and get the BBQ going. The whole park has a calm, neighborhood feel to it, nothing too flashy, just well-kept and functional. Good for everything from a family cookout to letting the teens burn off some energy on the court.
