Splashpad

Out here in the Panhandle heat, this little splashpad is genuinely a lifesaver for families with small kids. The water features are set up so toddlers and preschoolers can trigger them on their own, which means less hovering and more actual fun. There are benches around for parents, though seating is limited so you might want to get there early if you want a spot in the shade. Best suited for the 1-6 crowd — older kids will burn through it fast, but little ones could easily spend an hour here.
