Farwell’s got a solid little spot for families who need to get the kids out of the house for a while. The slides are a hit with the younger crowd, and the shade trees actually do their job — you’re not baking in the Texas sun while you watch the kids play. Picnic tables with shaded seating make it easy to pack a lunch and stay a while. Good for kids roughly 2 to 12, and honestly one of the better low-key outdoor options in this part of the panhandle.
