If you live on the west side of Fort Worth, you probably already know about this one — and if you don’t, it’s worth the drive. The lake views alone make it feel like you’ve left the city behind, and the walking trail is a solid loop for getting some steps in while the kids burn off energy. There are separate play areas that actually make sense for different ages, so your toddler isn’t getting run over by the bigger kids. Shaded benches, decent parking, and a genuinely calm vibe round it out — this isn’t a chaotic Saturday-afternoon scene, which is honestly refreshing.
