If you want to avoid the crowds at the bigger Fort Worth parks, this little spot near the duck pond is honestly one of the better-kept secrets in Trinity Park. Kids aged 2 to 10 have plenty to keep them busy — slides, swings, a climbing structure, and one of those old-school merry-go-rounds you don’t see much anymore. The shade trees actually do their job here, which matters a lot come summer in Texas. Pack a lunch and grab a picnic table, then let the little ones wander over to watch the ducks when they’re done playing. It’s compact, it’s rarely slammed with people, and that combination is harder to find than it should be.
