If you’ve got little ones and want a playground that actually thinks about all kids, this one in Haltom City is worth the trip. The soft fall surface is a genuine selling point — toddlers take tumbles, and it’s good to know the ground has some give to it. Shade trees and covered seating make the warm Texas days a lot more bearable for parents who aren’t trying to melt on a bench. There’s a walking path too, so you can get some steps in while the kids do their thing. It stays clean and well-kept, which honestly isn’t something you can say about every park in the area.
