The equipment here is genuinely new — not “new for Houston parks” new, but actually new — and it shows. Kids aged 2 through 12 all find something worth fighting over, whether that’s the slides, the merry-go-round, or the water feature that becomes the main event on any hot day (so, basically always). Parents get real seating, actual restrooms, and enough going on — walking path, soccer field — that you can get your own steps in while the kids wear themselves out. It’s the kind of spot where neighbors actually run into each other, which doesn’t happen at every park in this city.
