Honestly, for Mission, this place is kept up better than most parks around the area — you can tell someone actually gives a damn about maintaining it. It’s the kind of spot where you don’t have to think twice about letting your kids run around, because the grounds are consistently clean and in good shape. People of all ages show up here and seem to leave happy, which says a lot. If you’ve been burned by run-down parks in the Valley before, this one’s worth the visit.
