Stone Hill Park

If you live on the east side of Pflugerville, you probably already know Stone Hill Park is the go-to spot when the Texas heat gets brutal — that splash pad fills up fast on summer afternoons. Kids in the 4-12 range get plenty to work with between the climbing structure, swings, and water feature, and parents actually have decent places to sit with real shade trees overhead. Pack a cooler because the BBQ area and picnic tables make it easy to turn a playground trip into a full afternoon out. The open grass field is big enough for a pickup game or just letting the dog stretch its legs, and parking has never been a problem in my experience.
