Children’s Nature Play Area

If you’ve got a toddler who wants to touch everything and climb on stuff that isn’t a couch, this spot was basically made for them. The natural play setup — logs, stumps, a cedar limb teepee — keeps little ones busy in a way that generic plastic equipment just doesn’t. Mature shade trees do a solid job keeping things cool, which matters a lot when you’re in San Antonio and it’s 95 degrees by 10am. The soft mulch ground is a nice touch for the inevitable tumbles, and being right next to trails means you can extend the outing once the kids wear themselves out. Honestly one of the better spots in the area for the under-6 crowd.
