Small and low-key, this little playground in Wellington does exactly what a neighborhood spot should — gives kids a place to run around without you having to drive across town. It’s the kind of place locals know about but outsiders probably won’t stumble across. Don’t expect a lot of bells and whistles, but if you’ve got young kids and just need some fresh air and a quiet afternoon, it gets the job done. Wellington’s a small town anyway, so the relaxed pace here fits right in.
