Lucy Park Sound Garden

If your kid has ever banged on every pot in your kitchen, this is basically their dream come true. The Sound Garden sits right along the duck pond at Lucy Park, and the musical equipment out there — chimes, drums, all of it — gets a serious workout from kids who don’t need any instruction to figure it out. It’s one of those spots where you actually want to hang around instead of just scrolling your phone while they play. Wichita Falls doesn’t have a ton of places like this, so locals who know about it tend to keep coming back.
