Boulder Playground

Right along the Helper River walking trail, this spot is one of those places you end up at almost by accident and then keep coming back to. Kids go straight for the sand and the tunnels — nothing flashy, but that’s kind of the point. There’s a pavilion, tables, and restrooms close by, which makes a real difference when you’ve got little ones in tow. It’s the kind of easy, no-stress stop that works whether you’re out for a walk or just need to burn off some energy.
