Tucked right up against the Murdock Canal Trail, this spot is one of those places locals keep coming back to even when the kids have outgrown playgrounds. The rope course dome is genuinely cool — not your standard climbing structure — and there’s actually a bench inside it, which means parents can sit in the shade and still keep an eye on things without hovering. The shaded seating situation here is better than most Highland parks, so summer visits are actually manageable. Throw in a bike track, open grass, and easy access to the trail system, and you’ve got a solid few hours sorted for basically any age.
