If you’ve never been on a horse before, this is honestly one of the better places to start. The guides are the kind of people who actually know the land — they’ll point out things you’d miss on your own, and they’re patient with first-timers without being condescending about it. The horses are solid and calm, which matters a lot when you’re taking in those red rock views and don’t want to be wrestling with a skittish animal. Trails wind near the trees and there’s water close by, so the whole ride feels more varied than you’d expect. It’s one of those Moab experiences that holds up whether you’re a local dragging out-of-town relatives or a visitor trying to see the landscape from a different angle.
