Founders Park Playground

If you live in Syracuse and have kids anywhere between 5 and 15, you probably already know this park — and if you don’t, you’re missing out. The playground sits right next to the pickleball courts, which is genuinely useful when you want to get a game in without losing track of your kids. There’s a skate park, soccer and open grass fields, and enough space that different groups can do their own thing without getting in each other’s way. Shade trees and covered seating make it actually comfortable to hang out here in the summer, and the restrooms stay clean, which — honestly, that matters more than people admit. It’s the kind of place where half the neighborhood ends up on a Saturday afternoon.
