If you’ve got a crawler or a wobbly toddler, this little Alexandria spot is genuinely one of the better-kept secrets in the neighborhood. The enclosure is the big sell — parents can actually relax on the shaded benches without doing the constant sprint-and-grab routine. Someone thought to leave communal toy cars for the kids, which is such a nice touch, and there’s even a small labyrinth tucked in that makes for a surprisingly peaceful few minutes while the little one toddles around. Street parking is easy enough, and the rubberized surface means falls aren’t a big deal. Realistically, once your kid hits kindergarten age they’ll probably be bored, but for the baby-to-four crowd it’s a solid regular stop.
