If you live in Ashburn and have kids anywhere from toddler age up to tweens, this park pretty much checks every box. The play equipment is split up by age group, which sounds like a small thing until you’ve dealt with a 2-year-old getting bulldozed by older kids — they actually thought it through here. There’s a water feature that becomes the main event on hot summer days, plus shaded seating so parents aren’t just standing there melting. The basketball court and bike track give older kids somewhere to actually go, and the walking path loops around enough open grass field that everyone finds their thing. It stays clean, it stays quiet, and the parking situation is way less stressful than most parks in the area.
