If you’ve got kids of different ages, this one’s worth knowing about. The play train and musical equipment make it a bit more interesting than your average setup — kids actually stop and interact with stuff instead of just running laps. There’s a tire swing alongside the climbing structure, so there’s usually something available no matter how crowded it gets. The whole area is enclosed, which is a genuine relief if you’ve got a runner, and the layout means you can sit on a bench and actually see what’s going on without constantly getting up. Bluefield doesn’t have a ton of playgrounds this well-equipped, so locals tend to come back to this one regularly.
