Buckroe Beach

Buckroe is one of those spots that Hampton locals guard pretty closely — it’s clean, it’s calm, and it doesn’t have that overcrowded chaos you find at bigger beaches. The grassy area behind the sand is genuinely spacious, and on weekends you’ll catch legit soccer tournaments happening out there alongside families just sprawled out on blankets. Free parking makes the whole thing a no-brainer, especially in summer when every other beach nearby is charging you an arm and a leg. Good for little kids, good for older ones, good for adults who just want to sit by the bay without a lot of noise.
