If you want somewhere to actually decompress without a crowd, this is your spot — especially on a weekday when it’s practically yours. The river access is the real draw here, with a dock that works great for launching kayaks, SUPs, or a small fishing boat. There’s a big covered picnic shelter with grills, so it’s an easy call for a family cookout, and the restrooms are genuinely clean with running water (not a given at parks like this). Little ones have a small playground to keep them busy while everyone else does their thing.
