Locals know Highland Park as the go-to spot when you want to get outside without driving forever. The Turkey Springs area has trails that are genuinely approachable — not too gnarly, good for a casual hike or a bike ride when the weather cooperates. Aberdeen doesn’t have a ton of green space like this, so people actually use it. Worth checking out if you’re looking to stretch your legs without making a whole production of it.
