Grass Valley Park

If you live on the east side of Camas, this is probably your go-to spot — and for good reason. The playground covers a solid age range, with climbing structures, slides, and swings that keep the 2-to-12 crowd busy long enough for you to actually sit down at one of the picnic tables. Shade trees and covered seating mean it’s genuinely usable on hot summer days, not just in theory. The basketball court and open grass field give older kids somewhere to burn off energy while younger ones stick to the play structure, and the walking path along the edge of the park butts up close to the trees, which gives the whole place a quieter, more woodsy feel than your average neighborhood park. Parking is easy, restrooms are on-site, and the sightlines are good — you can keep an eye on the kids without constantly chasing them down.
