Schaefer County Park Playground

If you live anywhere near Centralia, this park is genuinely underrated. The loop trail through the woods is the real draw — it winds past trees and crosses a footbridge, which kids absolutely lose their minds over. Bring a lunch because the picnic tables get you right up close to that forested edge, and the open grass fields are huge enough for a proper game of whatever. Restrooms on site means you can actually stay a while without stressing about that. Good for all ages, solid for birthday parties, and honestly just a nice place to walk on a weekday when you want trees without a big hike.
