Homann Park is one of those spots in Lacey that locals keep coming back to, and honestly it’s easy to see why. The playground covers the basics well — slides, swings, and a climbing structure that keeps kids in the 2–12 range genuinely busy — and the inclusive setup means it works for a wider range of kids than a lot of parks around here. Parents actually get a decent view of the whole play area without having to hover, which makes a real difference. Shade trees and covered seating mean you’re not roasting in the sun while you wait, and there are restrooms on site, which: thank goodness. Tack on a walking path, open grass field, and picnic tables, and you’ve got a full afternoon sorted.
