Lake Sacajawea Park Playground

Locals know this one’s a gem — the lake views alone make it worth the trip, but there’s genuinely a lot going on here for families. Kids 2 through 12 have a solid climbing structure to work through, plus a water feature that’s basically mandatory on a warm Longview afternoon. The dirt bike track and walking path keep the older ones busy while littles do their thing, and the open grass field means nobody’s fighting over space. Picnic tables, clean restrooms, the whole setup — it’s the kind of park that actually gets maintained, which isn’t something you can say about all of them. Quiet neighborhood, pretty setting, easy to spend a few hours without realizing it.
