Lions Park

If you live in Poulsbo, you already know about this place — and if you don’t, you’re missing out. The zipline and merry-go-round alone make it worth the trip for the 2-to-9 crowd, but what really sets Lions Park apart is the setting: you’ve got water views, shade trees, and actual clean restrooms (not a given at parks around here). The bike track and walking path loop around nicely, so parents can stretch their legs while kids burn energy on the climbing structure and swings. Parking is easy, the picnic tables under the shade are genuinely pleasant spots to sit, and being close to the beach means you can easily turn it into a half-day thing.
