Meadow Crest Playground

This place is legitimately one of the better-kept playgrounds in the Renton area — the equipment actually gets maintained, which you’d think would be a given but apparently isn’t everywhere. Kids have a lot to work with here: slides, swings, a climbing structure, and some musical equipment that younger ones especially go nuts for. The enclosed play area is a big deal for parents of runners, and the surfacing underfoot is padded and forgiving. Shaded seating, picnic tables, restrooms, and a decent parking situation make it easy to actually stay a while. There’s also a walking path and bike track on-site, so older kids and adults aren’t just standing around waiting.
