Honestly, this one’s hit or miss depending on when you show up. Shadle Park Playground sits in a pretty low-key neighborhood, and on a good day it’s calm enough, but loitering and sanitation issues have been a real problem here — enough that parents in the area talk about it. If you’re going, earlier in the day tends to be your best bet. It’s worth knowing what you’re walking into before you load up the stroller.
