The fenced play area here is honestly one of the better setups in Tacoma for parents with younger kids — you can actually relax a little instead of chasing someone toward the parking lot. There’s a solid mix of slides, swings, and climbing structure that keeps the 2-12 crowd busy without things feeling too crowded. The open grass field out back gets a real workout on weekends, and the basketball court draws older kids once they’ve outgrown the jungle gym. Locals have been bringing their kids here for years, and it shows — this one has that worn-in, actually-used feel that the newer parks sometimes lack.
