Chambers Creek Regional Park

Honestly, Chambers Creek is one of those places where you kind of forget the playground exists because everything else is competing for your attention — the views of Puget Sound, the trails cutting through the ravine, the wide open grass fields where kids just take off running. The walking paths here are genuinely great, not some afterthought loop, and with the beach and forest so close you can easily turn a quick visit into a half-day thing. Restrooms and picnic tables make it easy to actually stay a while, which locals definitely do, especially on weekends when the parking lot fills up faster than you’d expect. It’s the kind of park that works better the more you explore it.
