Waverly Park

If you’re from around Waverly, you already know this place. The playground is fully fenced, which parents around here genuinely appreciate, and the swings get plenty of use. Basketball and tennis courts were recently redone, and there’s a sand volleyball pit if you’ve got a crew to fill it out. The walking trails wind through some decent tree cover, and the open green space is big enough that it never feels crowded. Pack a cooler — the pavilions have picnic tables and BBQ pits, so it works well for an actual family outing, not just a quick stop.
