Rocky Reach Park & Playground

If you haven’t made the trip out to Rocky Reach along the Columbia River, you’re missing one of the better family spots in the Wenatchee area. The fish ladder and Discovery Center give kids something genuinely interesting to look at — it’s educational without feeling like homework. Grab a picnic table, let the little ones loose on the playground, and you’ve got a solid few hours sorted. The open grass field is great for burning off energy, and the whole place is kept up really well, which isn’t something you can say about every park around here.
