Ritter Park (playground)

Ritter Park’s playground is honestly one of the better-kept spots in Huntington — the equipment is clean, the layout makes sense, and someone clearly actually maintains it. Kids get a solid mix of slides, swings, and climbing structures, plus a zipline that tends to draw a crowd for obvious reasons. The shaded seating is a real plus in summer, so parents aren’t just standing around baking while the little ones run wild. There’s open grass nearby too, which gives older kids somewhere to spread out once they’ve cycled through the main structure. Good for a wide age range — the 2-year-olds and the 12-year-olds can usually both find something to do here.
