Interstate Park Ball Field/Shelter/South Playground

Down by the south end of Interstate State Park, this spot gets steady use from locals who know it well — the ball field and shelter make it a solid pick for a casual game or a shaded lunch after a morning on the trails. The playground area gives kids somewhere to burn off energy while adults actually get a break. Wheelchair accessible too, which isn’t something you can take for granted at older park sites in the area. Dresser’s a small town, so this corner of the park pulls more weight than it might look like from the road.
