If you’re driving up to the tip of the Door County peninsula, this little spot is worth knowing about. It’s part of Gills Rock Park right off the road, so stopping here when kids need a break is genuinely easy. Don’t expect much — there’s a swing set, a toddler swing, and restrooms — but honestly that’s all you need when you’ve got a 5-year-old losing their mind in the backseat. Best suited for the 4-to-10 crowd, and a solid pit stop before or after checking out the harbor nearby.
