Virmond Park Playground

The treehouse-themed structure here is genuinely one of the cooler setups in the area — kids go nuts for it, and it holds up well compared to a lot of the worn-out equipment you find elsewhere in the county. There are slides, swings, and a solid climbing structure that keeps the 2-to-12 crowd busy long enough for parents to actually decompress. The lake nearby makes the whole thing feel less like a typical park stop and more like a little escape — especially in the fall when the views get ridiculous. Mequon does a good job keeping this one maintained, which honestly isn’t something you can say about every park around here.
