Kids Cove Playground

If you’re anywhere near North Beach, this place is worth the detour — honestly one of the better playgrounds in Racine. The beach theme actually makes sense here since you’re practically on the lake, and the setup is big enough that younger kids and older ones aren’t constantly tripping over each other. There’s a solid mix of equipment — tunnels, a tire swing, climbing structures, musical stuff — so kids don’t burn through it in ten minutes. The whole thing is fenced, which parents around here really appreciate, and the shredded tire surface is way easier on knees than wood chips. Tack on the walking and bike paths nearby and you’ve got a solid half-day out.
